JEE Main 2025: NTA Asks Candidates To Upload Photograph Again

The National Testing Agency has asked some candidates to upload the photograph again for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) – 2025 Session I– Reg. As per the notice issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA), it has been observed that the photograph uploaded by a few candidates for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main)- 2025 (Session I) has not been found as per the required specification.

NTA has decided to allow such candidates to upload the photograph as per the required specifications to avoid rejections of applications.

Notably, candidates whose photographs are to be changed will be informed about it by message on their registered email ID and SMS on their mobile number. These candidates must log in using their credentials and click on the link to upload a new photograph from January 16 to January 17, 2025.

Specifications for Candidate’s Photograph to be Uploaded 

  • Passport size photograph should be between 10 kb to 300kb
  • The recent photograph should be in colour with 80% face without mask visible including ears against white background
  • The photograph should be named as ‘Photograph’ and in JPG/JPEG format
  • Spectacles are allowed only if being used regularly
  • Polaroid and Computer-generated photos are not acceptable
  • Applications without photographs as per specification given above shall be rejected

  • The photographs need nto be attested. Candidates are advised to keep 6 to 8 passport size colour photographs with white background
  • Candidates may note that if the photograph uploaded are found to be fabricated the application of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using unfair Means and the candidate would be dealt with accordingly
  • Candidates are advised to take note of the above and act accordingly
