MH SET 2025 Registration Starts; Exam On June 15

The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has initiated the online registration process for the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) 2025. Candidates can visit the official website – setexam.unipune.ac.in to register.

The last date of application is March 13, 2025. However, the applications are allowed till March 21 with a late fee. The MH SET 2025 is scheduled to be held on June 15, 2025.

The application fee is Rs 800 for the unreserved category and Rs 650 for the candidates belonging to OBC, DT(A) (VJ)/NT(B)/NT(C)/NT(D)/SEBC/(for Noncreamy layer)/Open(EWS)/PwD/SC/ST/Transgender/Orphan.

The Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) exam is conducted to select candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in universities/colleges of Maharashtra and Goa. The MH SET exam is conducted in 32 subjects under the faculties of Arts; Commerce; Science; Management; Law; Mental, Moral, and Social Sciences; Education, and Physical Education.

MH SET 2025 is held in two sessions for two different papers. Candidates need to appear for both the papers in order to qualify it. The top 6 percent candidates from the merit list for each subject and category are considered qualified for the SET exam.

MH SET 2025: How to apply

Step 1: Go to the official website – setexam.unipune.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the link ‘Apply for M-SET held on 15th June 2025’

Step 3: Register and proceed to fill out the application form

Step 4: Pay the registration fee and click on the submit button

Step 5: Download the application form and save/printout for future use
