NEET Results 2025: Date, Time, Websites, and All Other Details
New Delhi, June 13, 2025 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to announce the NEET UG 2025 results, for over 22.7 lakh medical aspirants seeking admission to undergraduate medical, dental, and AYUSH courses across India. According to the official information bulletin released on February 7, 2025, the results are expected to be declared by June 14, 2025, though historical trends suggest an earlier announcement is possible, as seen last year when results were released on June 4, ten days ahead of schedule. A report said the NEET results will be released tomorrow, not today. The NEET result will be released online on the official websites of the Agency and the national level medical entrance examination. Candidates are advised to stay vigilant for updates, as the exact date and time remain subject to confirmation.
The NEET UG 2025 examination, conducted on May 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, took place across 5,453 centers in over 500 cities in India and 14 international locations. The exam, for which the NEET results are expected anytime now as the NEET answer keys have already been released, known for its rigor, tested candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with a total of 180 compulsory questions carrying 720 marks.
This year’s paper was reported to be more challenging than previous years, particularly in Physics and Biology, potentially influencing cutoff scores and merit ranks, and this is expected to reflect in the NEET results of most candidates.
To access their NEET results, candidates must visit the official NTA websites: neet.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in. The process involves logging in with their application number, date of birth, and a security pin. The NEET 2025 scorecard will detail critical information, including subject-wise and overall scores, percentile, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, and the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) rank.
Candidates are urged to download and print their NEET scorecards, as these will be essential for the counseling process.
Alongside the results, the NTA will release the final answer key, NEET cutoff marks, and the merit list. The provisional answer key, issued on June 3, 2025, allowed candidates to raise objections until June 5 for a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question.
The final NEET answer key, incorporating valid challenges, will serve as the basis for result computation. The cutoff marks, varying by category, determine eligibility for counseling. Last year, the general category cutoff ranged from 720-162, while SC/ST/OBC cutoffs were 161-127, and this year’s expected cutoffs may be lower due to the exam’s increased difficulty.
The NEET 2025 counseling process, conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for AIQ seats and state authorities for 85% state quota seats, is expected to commence in July 2025. Approximately 90,000 seats across MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH programs will be allocated based on NEET ranks. Candidates qualifying with the minimum cutoff percentile—50th for General, 40th for SC/ST/OBC, and 45th for General-PwD—will be eligible to participate.
Aspirants are encouraged to monitor official NTA websites and social media for real-time updates.
