
NEET UG 2025 Result Major Highlights; Only 4 Girls Among Top 30
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the NEET UG 2025 Result today on June 14, 2025. The result is live on NTA’s official website – neet.nta.ac.in. This year, NEET UG 2025 was conducted for more than 22 lakh candidates at 5468 centres in India and 14 cities abroad on May 4, 2025.
This year, astonishingly, the marks of the topper candidate remain low in comparison to last year’s NEET exam, where 67 candidates secured perfect 720 marks.
This year, out of the 22 lakh candidates, 965996 were male candidates and 1310062 were female candidates. Despite their high number of appearances, the result of male candidates remained better when it comes to toppers of the exam.
This year, out of the top 10 candidates, 9 are boys and only 1 candidate is female. Among the top 20, only 2 are female candidates, and the rest are male. Also, among the top 30, only 4 are girls and the rest 26 are boys.
The top 3 candidates are male. Avika Aggarwal from Delhi secured rank 5, Aashi Singh from Delhi got rank 12, Badhe Siddhi Manjabapu from Maharashtra secured rank 26, and Tanisha from Rajasthan secured rank 29.

NEET UG 2025: Major Highlights
- This year a total of 2209318 candidates appeared for the NEET UG 2025 exam.
- The OBC candidates numbering 948507 outnumbered the un-reserved category candidates with total count of 689366.
- A total of 722462 female candidates qualified the exam which is higher than the male candidates.
- 6 Third gender candidates qualified the exam.
- More number of OBC candidates qualified the exam in comparison to the other categories.
- Maximum number of candidates qualified from Uttar Pradesh, followed by Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
- Top 73 candidates marks ranges from 651-686
- Top 50,000 cutoff is 502 marks
