NMC Releases Details Of PG Seats For Year 2025-26
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the details of seats for postgraduate courses (PG) in medical colleges for the academic year 2025-26. As per the official notification, the number of seats available is as of December 8, 2025, in various postgraduate (Broad Speciality) courses in medical colleges/institutions.
NMC has directed the institutions to verify and confirm the number of seats displayed against their respective institutions. In the event of any discrepancy, the institutions can inform the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) along with supporting documentation.
The NMC also noted that failure to report any discrepancy within the stipulated time may affect the updation of student details on the NMC Admission Portal by the respective college/institution.

NMC has also released the NEET PG Counselling Seats Allotment for round 2 on its official website. Candidates must obtain a new online-generated admission letter for the changed category or quota seat; otherwise, the allotted seat will be cancelled due to non-admission.
NMC has also announced the counselling schedule for All India Quota (AIQ) and published the final seat position for postgraduate broad speciality courses for the 2025-26 academic year.
