UGC NET December 2025 Exam Schedule Out; Check @ ugcnet.nta.nic.in
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the UGC NET December 2025 exam schedule set to be held from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026. Candidates can go through the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in – to register for the examination. The last date of application is November 7, 2025.
The exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode across various centres in India. The examination will be held in multiple shifts, depending on the subject and the location of the test center. Candidates will be assigned their respective exam centres through the City Intimation Slip, released 10 days before the examination.

The UGC NET examination determines eligibility for Assistant Professor positions, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and PhD admissions in Indian universities and colleges.
The registration process has already started on October 7, 2025, and continues till November 7, 2025. During this period, candidates must complete their online application on the official NTA UGC NET portal, providing accurate personal and academic details.
After the registration window is closed, a correction window will be opened from November 10 to November 12, 2025, allowing candidates to make necessary changes or corrections to their submitted application forms.
The candidates must download the admit card online, as no physical copies will be sent by post.
