UPSC CSE 2024 Cut-Off Is Out; General, OBC Prelims Cutoff Differs by Just a Decimal Point
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Civil Services preliminary Examination 2024 minimu qualifying marks for different categories. Candidates can go through the UPSC official website – upsc.gov.in to check the cut-off marks.
Prelims Cut-off marks are decided on the basis of GS Paper – I only as the GS Paper – II is qualifying in nature with 33% marks.

UPSC has announced the CSE 2024 result on April 22, and a total of 1009 candidates have been recommended for the various posts. As per the UPSC, whereever two or more candidates have secured equal aggregate marks in CSE EXam 2024, the ties have been resolved in accordance with the principles approved by the commission based on more marks in Compulsory Papers and the Personality Test put together and also seniority in age.
Shakti Dubey, Harshita Goyal and Dongre Archit Parag have secured the top three ranks in the final list released by the UPSC today. Out of the top 10 candidates 4 are girls and 6 are boys.
Also, the Jamia Millia Islamia University, Residential Coaching academy (JMI RCA) has delivered another remarkable performance by securing top ranks in the UPSC CSE 2024 result. Alfred Thomas has secured an overall rank 33, Ruchika Jha – 51, Devanshi rank 124 and Adiba Anam Ashfaque Rank 142. A total of 32 candidates from JMI RCA have been recommended in the UPSC CSE 2025 final list.
