According to the early trends of counting, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and NCP leader secured an early lead in the Baramati assembly constituency. Ajit Pawar has been pitted against his nephew and the Rival NCP’s Yugendra Pawar, making the battle more challenging for the six-time MLA to retain his citadel.

Notably, Baramati bigwig is facing big challenge this time, especially given the split in the party, and the trend in the recently held Lok Sabha elections.
