Kannad Election Result: Shiv Sena's Sanjana Jadhav Leads In Early Trends

Shiv Sena’s Sanjana Jadhav is leading in the Kannad Assembly constituency of Maharashtra with 28,621 votes secured so far. With a margin of 10,994 votes she is surpassing the independent candidate Jadav Harshwardhan Raibhan, who secured 17,627 votes.

Sanjana Jadhav, the daughter of BJP’s five-time former MP Roasaheb Danve is contesting against her husband and the former MLA Harshwardhan Jadhav. She joined the Shiv Sena party on October 27 in the presence of the chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Udaysing Sardarsing Rajput of SS won in this seat defeating Jadhav Harshawardhan Raibhanji of IND by a margin of 18,440 which was 08.55% of the total votes cast for the seat. SS had a vote share of 36.72% in 2019 in this seat.

In the 2014 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Jadhav Harshvardhan Raibhan of SS won in this seat defeating Udaysing Sardarsing Rajput of NCP by a margin of 1,561 which was 0.81% of the total votes cast for the seat. SS had a vote share of 32.6% in 2014 in this seat.
