Dravida Munnetra Kazhakam (DMK) IT Wing announced on X its detailed preparation during the elections through the detailed analysis and compilation of booth-level polling data. For the ongoing General Election, the team has collected Form 17Cs from 68,320 polling booths across Tamil Nadu. Over the past 25 days, they have been meticulously collating and analyzing this data by Parliamentary Constituency, sharing the insights with DMK leader and chief minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin.

The statement highlighted the relentless efforts of the DMK IT Wing, with team members working tirelessly for the past month without any break, even after the polling concluded. The IT Wing has implemented a rigorous process, significantly improved since previous elections through the digitization of Form 17C data and enhanced training and coordination of party workers, including the BLA, BLC, and ITW Booth in-charges.

Booth-level workers have been systematically trained to track the number of votes polled, ensuring that the data in Form 17Cs matches the control unit, ballot unit, and VVPAT records. Additionally, unique IDs of the Voting Machines are compiled for verification at the counting centers. The DMK IT Wing is committed to equipping all representatives with accurate data on Counting Day, aiming to ensure due process and secure a massive victory for DMK and its allies.

In Tamil Nadu, DMK-led INDIA alliance is in direct contest with BJP’s NDA and another alliance lead by AIADMK.

Tamil Nadu, in which all 39 Lok Sabha constituencies went to poll on April 19, recorded a 62.19 per cent voting till the provisional polling announced by the Election Commission. The results will be announced on June 4 along with all other constituencies.
