As per at least four exit polls released right after the completion of Lok Sabha polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA will win 1 to 3 seats in Kerala. India Toady-Axis My India exit poll predicted 2-3 seats for NDA and 17 to 18 seats for Rahul Gandhi-led Congress’ UDF and 0 to 1 seat for the Left Front in the state.

Meanwhile, Times Now ETG predicted 1 seat, India TV-CNX 1 to 3 seats and ABP C Voter predicted 1 to 3 seats for NDA in Kerala. The BJP led NDA has won a seat in Kerala’s history only in 2004, when PC Thomas won from Muvattupuzha. However, BJP has been unsuccessful to win a seat in the southern state of India, where either the CPM-led left front or Congress-led United Front have hegimonised the election arena.
