Karad South Election Result: Former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan Loses To BJP's Atul Bhosale

During the 2019 assembly elections, Chavan, a veteran Congress leader, defeated Bhosale by a margin of 9,513 votes

As the counting for the 288 assembly constituencies ends, BJP candidate Atul Bhosale has defeated former Maharashtra chief minister and Congress’ Prithviraj Chavan. Securing 123885 votes, Bhosale emerged triumphant by a margin of around 39355 votes, according to the date provided by Election Commission.

During the 2019 assembly elections, Chavan, a veteran Congress leader, defeated Bhosale by a margin of 9,513 votes. Karad South falls in the rural Satara district and is part of the Satara Lok Sabha constituency.
