"The Battle Of Ideology Will Continue"; Rahul Gandhi Responds To 3-1 Assembly Election Results

As the vote counting of the 2023 assembly election has reached its ending note, the leaders started to respond and express their gratitude for all those who worked hard and the people of all four states, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana for their response. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minster Amit Shah, Rahul Gandhi expressed his gratitude in a statement posted on his X (formerly twitter) page.

BJP is having a comfortable edge in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh while in Madhya Pradesh, the party have a mammoth lead as it oust Congress with more than 100 seats. Telangana is the only state that is rooting for Congress.

Taking to X, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi marked his response to the blow brought in by the election results. He wrote that he “humbly accept the mandate of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan”. He said the battle of ideology will keep going. Along with thanking the people of Telangana, the opposition leader also expressed his “heartfelt thanks to all the workers for their hard work and support”.

 

 

According to the latest updates from the Election Commission of India, in Madhya Pradesh, BJP is leading with 163 seats while Congress is behind with mere 66 seats. In Rajasthan, BJP is at the front with 115 seats whereas Congress won 69 seats so far. In Rajasthan, independent candidates, including party rebels has won eight seats.

In Chhattisgarh, BJP locked 54 seats while Congress is staying at 36 seats. Telangana proves to be a forte to Congress. The party is leading with 64 seats while the incumbent BRS is stuck at 39 seats. This time, BJP managed to gain eight seats.
