Surpassing independent candidate Mukesh Manoj Jiwtode who secured 25,802 votes so far, BJP candidate Karan Sanjay Deotale secured the lead by 8,274 votes. Deotale has secured 34,076 votes so far, as per the data available on the official website of the Election Commission.

The Congress candidate Dhanorkar Pratibha Suresh won the seat with a margin of 10,095, defeating Shiv Sena candidate Sanjay Wamanrao Deotale. Shiv Sena candidate Suresh Alias Balubhau Narayan Dhanorkar had won the seat defeating Deotale who contested under the BJP banner. The winning margin was 2,004 votes.

In the 2009 Maharashtra assembly elections, Deotale, as a Congress candidate had secured victory over the seat, defeating Dhanorkar with a margin of 3,740 votes. The Congress had a vote share of 33.25 percent in Warora assembly seat in 2009.

The BJP has fielded 149 candidates, Shiv Sena (Shinde) 81, and NCP (Ajit Pawar) 59. In the opposition, the Congress has fielded 101 candidates, Shiv Sena (UBT) 95, and NCP (Sharad Pawar) 86.

In the 2019 Assembly elections, the BJP secured 105 seats, the undivided Shiv Sena 56, and the Congress 44. In 2014, the BJP won 122 seats, the Shiv Sena and the Congress garnered 63, and 42 seats, respectively.

As the ruling Mahayuti alliance hopes to continue in power, opposition Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) strives for a strong comeback.

The ruling Mahayuti consists of the BJP, the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde-led breakaway faction of the Shiv Sena, and the deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar’s faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). The opposition, the INDIA bloc’s MVA or the Maha Vikas Aghadi, has the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), or SS (UBT) led by former CM Uddhav Thackeray, the NCP (SP) faction led by Sharad Pawar and the Congress.
