Bollywood star actor Vicky Kaushal”s highly anticipated movie, titled Sam Bahadur, is all set for theatrical release. Ahead of the release, Vicky Kaushal unveiled a new poster from the film on November 1. Sam Bahadur, directed by Meghna Gulzar, will be released on December 1.

“SAM IS HERE! On 1.12.2023. One month to go!” Vicky Kaushal wrote on his Instagram account while sharing the new poster of Sam Bahadur. The movie is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw, the first Field Marshal of the Indian Army. The new poster portrays Vicky Kaushal with an intense look. The actor is seen sitting on a Jeep in army uniform. Director Meghna Gulzar also shared the new poster on her X handle. On October 13, makers released the teaser of this biopic. In the teaser, Sanya Malhotra appears as Sam Manekshaw”s wife, and Fatima Sana Shaikh is featured as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Sam Bahadur is the second collaboration between Meghana Gulzar and Vicky Kaushal after Raazi, a spy thriller released in 2018. Vicky Kaushal is well-known for playing roles inspired by true stories. This includes Uri: The Surgical Strike released in 2016, and Sardar Udham, released in 2021. Sam Bahadur also features Neeraj Kabi, Naoya Ishida, Edward Sonnenblick, Jaskaran Singh Gandhi, and Richard Bhakti Klein in major roles. Meanwhile, reports suggest that the trailer of the film may be released on November 7. However, the makers have not given any official confirmation on the trailer release date. Notably, the movie will clash with the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal at the box office on December 1.
