The sensational confession came to light through an exclusive sting operation conducted by Reporter TV, which has now brought the details of the conspiracy to the forefront.
In the interview, Pulsar Suni shared shocking insights into the sequence of events leading up to the crime. However, Suni revealed that he never received the entire amount. To this day, he claims that he is still owed ₹80 lakh from the total amount promised. Suni also confessed that, on multiple occasions, he had received money from Dileep, especially when he needed it.
The revelation is part of an ongoing investigation into the assault case that shocked the entire Malayalam film industry and left the public in disbelief.
The incident occurred on February 17, 2017, when the actress was kidnapped and assaulted in a moving car in Kochi. The assault, which was captured on a mobile phone by the perpetrators, was a horrific crime that gained widespread attention in the media.
The investigation has implicated nine people in total, with Dileep being one of the primary suspects. The actor, currently facing trial as the eighth accused in the case, has consistently denied the charges against him.
Suni explained that Dileep’s motivations were deeply personal, rooted in a sense of anger and betrayal over his family’s downfall, which he blamed on the actress.
According to Suni, Dileep’s aim was to trap the actress in a cycle of humiliation and abuse, effectively ruining her career and life.
In his statements, Pulsar Suni also shared that the actress was fully aware of what was going to happen to her on that fateful day.
He claimed that Dileep had informed her that she could prevent the assault by paying a sum of money. Suni further explained that, had the actress accepted the offer, the assault could have been avoided, and he himself might not have ended up behind bars.

The confession was made during a Reporter TV sting operation led by special correspondent R. Roshypal, where Suni provided details about the conspiracy and his direct involvement in the crime. His statements have opened up new avenues for investigation and raised serious questions about the extent of Dileep’s role in the assault.
The case has already been shrouded in controversy, with significant developments over the past years. The trial officially began in March 2018 at the Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court.
One of the most critical pieces of evidence in the case – a memory card containing video footage of the assault – has been at the center of allegations regarding its tampering. During the trial, Dileep denied all allegations, claiming that he had no involvement in the crime.
