Dulquer & Pepe Begin Filming For Action Movie 'I Am Game,' Directed By RDX Fame Nahas Hidayath

The shoot of the Malayalam movie I Am Game, starring Dulquer Salmaan and directed by Nahas Hidayath, known for RDX: Robert Dony Xavier (2023), Colour Padam (2021), has officially begun in Thiruvananthapuram with a traditional pooja ceremony on May 3rd, 2025. The film is being produced under Dulquer’s banner, Wayfarer Films.


Joining Dulquer in key roles are actor Antony Varghese and Tamil filmmaker-actor Mysskin, who is making his debut in Malayalam cinema with this project. The event was attended by the main cast and crew.

The script is written by Sajir Babu, Ismail Abubacker, and Bilal Moidu, with dialogues by Aadarsh Sukumaran and Shahabas Rasheed. I am Game is Nahas Hidayath’s next directorial after the blockbuster RDX, and marks Dulquer’s 40th film in his career.

The first schedule of shooting is currently happening in Thiruvananthapuram. The film is planned on a grand scale with a huge star cast and promises to be action-packed.

The unique title poster of the film has already gone viral on social media, sparking major excitement among fans. It is being touted as Dulquer’s biggest Malayalam film to date.

The cinematography for I Am Game is handled by Jimshi Khalid, with music composed by Jakes Bejoy. Editing is done by Shameer Muhammed, while the production design is led by Ajayan Challissery. Ronex Xavier is in charge of makeup, and Mashar Hamsa is responsible for costume design.

The production is managed by controller Deepak Parameswaran, with Rohith Chandrasekhar serving as associate director.

Lyrics are written by Manu Manjith and Vinayak Sasikumar. VFX is handled by Taufiq from Eggwhite, and the poster design is done by Ten Point.

Sync Cinema is taking care of sound design, with Kannan Ganapathy managing the sound mixing. SBK is the stills photographer, and Sabari is the film’s PRO.
