The narrative blends mystery, folklore, and emotional tension, positioning the film as a slow-burn thriller rooted deeply in local terrain and mythology.
The production of Eko̅ began in April 2025 and wrapped by mid-June, with most of the shoot completed in challenging hill locations. The team relied heavily on natural landscapes, using the shifting weather and geography of Idukki to heighten the film’s tension. Music by Mujeeb Majeed and editing by Sooraj E. S. aim to further amplify the film’s tone.
