L360: Mohanlal Announces Next With Tharun Moorthy

Mohanlal’s 360th film will be directed by ‘Opration Java’ and ‘Saudi Vellakka’ director Tharun Moorthy. The Mohanlal movie will be produced by M Ranjith under Rejaputhra Visual Media. Currently, other movies in pipeline for the versatile actor are Barroz (directed by the actor himself), Kannappa, Vrushabha, Ram: Part 1 and L2: Empuraan.

The script of the unnamed movie has been done by KR Sunil and Tharun Moorthy.

Mohanlal’s last was Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Malaikottai Vaaliban, which had received mixed response from the audience and the critics alike. Before that, ‘Neru’ directed by Jeethu Joseph, a court room drama, went on to become a runaway hit with its story and acting performances.

“Looking forward to working with Tharun Moorthy and M Renjith for my 360th film. Directed by Tharun Moorthy, the film is scripted by KR Sunil and the director himself. The project is produced by M. Renjith under Rejaputhra Visual Media. Appreciating your prayers and well wishes as the shoot begins this April,” Mohanlal announced on social media.

Tharun’s last two works, written by the director himself, are received well by the movie buffs. In which, Operation Java talked about real incidents from the lives of Kerala’s Cyber Police wing, while, Saudi Vellakka discussed about how an old police case may later become haunting for two families.
