Lal Salaam Teaser Out: Rajanikanth Graces The Screen As Moideen Bhai
Superstar Rajanikanth has given a grand Diwali gift for fans in the form ‘Lal Salaam’ movie trailer. The much awaited movie was helmed by Aishwarya Rajanikanth, the superstar’s daughter.The trailer unveiled the drama Aishwarya has crafted out and hints about a much needed communal harmony.
The story line trades on the lives of two cricketer friends named Vishnu and Vikranth as the two friends who belongs to Hindu and Muslim family who become enemies. The ultimate face off the two rival families happens on a cricket field as the two friends face each other. The match is dubbed as an India vs Pakistan match.
The extended cameo role of Rajanikanth comes as a Muslim godfather, named as Moideen Bhai, who comes to bring back the lost peace in the village and speaks in strong language about how communal disharmony was injected into the minds of children and the mixing of religion in sports. in the movie he said, “you have blended religion with sports. you have poisoned the minds of people”.
Lal Salaam is produces by Lyca Production and the Music by A R Rahman. Apart from Rajanikanth, Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, the star cast also include Senthil, Jeevitha, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Thambi Ramaiah, Vivek Prasanna and Thangadurai.
The film, which is slated to be released on 2024 Pongal marks Aishwarya Rajanikanth’s return to feature film after eight years of gap from her last feature movie Vai Raja Vai.
After the pack up of the movie was called, Aishwarya has posted on her Instagram that making an movie with Mr. Rajanikanth “is a miracle and you are pure magic appa”.
