Mari Selvaraj And Dhruv Vikram's 'Bison Kaalamaadan' To Hit Theaters This Year (Image-X/mari_selvaraj)
As the director Mari Selvaraj deeply imprinted his craft of storytelling with his latest release Vaazhai, he is now marching towards his next directorial with the Kollywood star Dhruv Vikram titled Bison Kaalamaadan.
On the occasion of the Mahaan actor’s birthday, director Mari Selvaraj released a new poster for his highly anticipated upcoming venture Bison Kaalamaadan, yesterday. Although he didn’t mention any further details about the movie, he confirmed that the film will be hitting the theaters this year.

Conveying his heartfelt wishes and officially introducing the film, on his X post he wrote “Wishing our dearest Dhruv Vikram the Happiest Birthday This year get ready to witness our Bison ‘s journey! Sending you all my love and best wishes!”

The official announcement of the film was made on the first week of May and the film went on floors on the same day. This film reunited producer Pa Ranjith and the director for the first time after their collaboration with Pariyerum Perumal in 2018, as the new film is jointly being backed by Applause Entertainment and Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Studios.

Bison, the third venture of actor Dhruv is expected to be a sports drama revolving around Kabadi. This film stars Anupama Parameswaran, Lal, Pasupathy, Kalaiyarasan, Rajisha Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal and Aruvi Madhan among others. The film will be backed by Applause Entertainment and Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Productions, and will have music by Nivas K Prasanna, cinematography by Ezhil Arasu, and editing by Sakthikumar.
