The user particularly praised the film’s visuals and background music, describing them as exceptional. However, he also mentioned that certain dramatic dialogues and subpar performances from some actors were disappointing aspects of the film.

Another film enthusiast wrote: ” Despite being a landmark picture in Mohanlal’s career, it is a regrettably forgettable film also aside from the expertly shot 3D visuals because of its poor screenplay and weaker execution, It was a dull and tedious theatre experience.

An X user stated that although the movie was technically sound, with impressive VFX and 3D shots in certain scenes, the 3D work could have been better utilised in key moments of the second half.

The user felt that the film lacked impactful moments and failed to establish a strong emotional connection between the lead characters, Barroz and Isabella, due to weak writing and screenplay and the story could have been concluded within two hours, making the final act feel unnecessary, ultimately leading to an underwhelming cinematic experience.

A moviegoer shared his thoughts on X, he wrote: “One of the finest 3D movies ever made, top quality visuals, the 3D experience was really good. Barroz is a protective warrior of the Vasco de Gama family, he gets trapped by a witch in guarding the treasures belonging to the Vasco de Gama family, he has been guarding it for centuries to hand over it to its rightful heir, how he find the heir and hands over the treasure is the movie. It movie is purely made for Kids and they would enjoy this as Lal Ettan fans if you are expecting high moments sadly there aren’t any, he has done what this genre requires, a very good directorial debut for Lal Ettan, a impressive musical from Lydian Easwaran and like I said the quality of the making is top-notch, screenplay could have been better to make it even more engaging but overall a perfect Christmas movie for kids, definitely take your kids and they will love.”
