South Indian stars Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are officially engaged, putting an end to years of dating rumours. While the couple has remained tight-lipped, Vijay Deverakonda’s team confirmed to Hindustan Times on Saturday morning that the duo is now engaged and all set to tie the knot in February 2026.
Though the engagement details remain under wraps, and neither Rashmika nor Vijay has made a public announcement or social media post, their long-speculated relationship appears to have taken a big step forward.
Rashmika and Vijay first met on the sets of the 2018 blockbuster Geetha Govindam and reunited in 2019 for Dear Comrade. Since then, they have consistently been in the limelight — not just for their successful careers, but also for their undeniable chemistry both on and off screen.
The couple has often been spotted vacationing at the same destinations, attending events together, and even sharing similar background settings in their photos, all of which fueled relationship rumours. Most recently, the two were seen leaving an airport together in the same car, once again sparking speculation that a big reveal was around the corner.

She will also star in Cocktail 2 alongside Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor, The Girlfriend, directed by Rahul Ravindran, and Mysaa by Rawindra Pulle.
Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, where he shared screen space with Satyadev and Bhagyashree Borse. The film was produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
