Netflix has once again reminded its audience of its upcoming Korean thriller launch, The Trunk. The trailer for the series is here to heighten your curiosity to delve deep into the mysterious melodrama.
With a haunting melody resounding in the background, the trailer of the mystery thriller drives the audience within the twisted layers of a marriage and its consequences. For the screen adaptation of the acclaimed novel by Kim Ryeo-ryeong, the makers have cast Seo Hyun-jin and Squid Game star Gong Yoo.

So, what is the intriguing mystery thriller all about? A secretive marriage service accompanied by a mysterious trunk. As per the official summary of Netflix, the story follows: Noh In-ji (Seo Hyun-jin), an employee at NM (New Marriage), finds herself deeply alone despite her job of living with a “contract husband” every year. Meanwhile, Han Jeong-won (Gong Yoo) enters into this contract marriage in an ironic attempt to preserve his previous marriage.
The strange and precarious relationship offers a glimpse into the series’ exploration of the complex emotions of characters involved in the “marriage”—love, compassion, obsession, desire, loneliness, and emptiness—and portrays the various depths of their relationships.
