Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri And Ammy Virk’s 'Bad Newz' Hits Theaters Today (Image-X/DharmaMovies)
Flooding the internet with the release of ‘Tauba Tauba’ echoing in the minds of everyone, trafficking the social media feeds, the hilarious ride featuring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Punjabi star Ammy Virk’s Bad Newz is set to hit the theatres today.
Bad Newz, another creation from the makers of the 2019 hilarious comedy film Good Newz which starred Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani, will be reaching the audience today who have been waiting with intense anticipation. Starring the three actors in the lead roles, the romantic comedy has become the talk of the town with the trailer and the killer moves of Vicky from Tauba Tauba‘s release.

Followed by Tauba Tauba, the team also released two other singles ‘Jaanam,’ and the recently released remix version ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam.’ With an ensemble cast, Bad Newz promises lots of laughter with pregnancy confusion and comedy.
The film has till now sold roughly 37,000 tickets amounting to Rs 1.04 crore. The Mumbai and Delhi circuit are currently in lead in terms of tickets, as per Sacnilk.
The makers unveiled the trailer on June 28, which gave a sneak peek at the unique pregnancy tragedy whirling around the three lead heads. Between the battle between Vicky and Ammy to win the heart of Triptii, the movie is a roller coaster ride of funny sequences, hilarious dialogues, and promising performances.
The film follows a rare case of heteropaternal superfecundation where Triptii’s character gets pregnant with both Vicky and Ammy’s characters children. The confusion caused by the breaking of the news is part of the story which makes up the hilarity as both the men fight over the woman.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film marks the second collaboration between Vicky and Anand, who previously worked together on the latter’s directorial debut, Love per Square Foot (2018). The film also starred Anand’s wife Angira Dhar as the female lead.
