Alia Bhatt, who is currently focusing on her upcoming film Love & War directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has locked her next project with the Kalki 2898 AD director, Nag Ashwin.
Alia, who faced a disappointed box office result with her previous venture, Jigra, is currently working on her much anticipated project with the Heeramandi director. The actress has reportedly dedicated over 200 days to Love & War, where she shares screen space with actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.

Eventually, the actress has also been searching for interesting projects to lock in her next venture. Recent reports revealed that she is now in advanced talks with the National Award-winning director for her next film.
According to the Pinkvilla report, Nag Ashwin is planning to direct a new film with Alia before working on the sequel to his mythological science fiction, Kalki 2898 AD. But currently, further details about the are under wraps. Reports also reveal that Alia is excited about the unique world that Nag Ashwin is about to create.

With this, Alia has secured a good number of films to entertain her fans. She will be next seen in Love & War, Alpha with Shiv Rawail alongside Sharvari, and Chamunda, a Maddock film set in the same universe as Stree and Munjya.
The actress was previously seen in the action thriller, Jigra, alongside Vedang Raina. Despite high expectations, the film failed to create an impact among the audience. Jigra managed to earn Rs 55 crores at the box office during its theatrical run. The Vasan Bala directorial narrates the story of a young woman who undertakes a risky journey to free her younger brother from a jail in another country.
