The actress further spoke about her filming experience during the pregnancy, terming it “mentally taxing,” referring to the difficult and mental effort she went through. Speaking in a joking manner, the actress mentioned her ability to write a thesis during pregnancy. Referring to her filming days while being pregnant and the support given by her director husband, Yami Gautam said, “Plus the firsts are always challenging. If you ask me about motherhood and everything coming together, I don’t know what I would’ve done if Aditya wasn’t by my side.”
Noting her commitment towards the film, she pointed out that she had a feeling of responsibility as an actor to finish the movie. Thanking doctors for carefully monitoring her while she was in shooting, the actress underscored the secrecy she kept about the pregnancy during the filming.
However, the movie, set to release on February 23, revolves around the controversial abrogation of Article 370 by the union government, changing the status of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir into the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Actress Yami Gautam appears in an important role in the movie as an NIA agent.
