Film Fraternity Pays Tribute: Kamal Haasan, Mammootty, Sunny Deol & Others Mourn The Loss Of Dr Manmohan Singh.

As the nation comes to terms with the loss of this visionary leader, celebrities from various fraternities have taken to social media to pay their heartfelt tributes to the former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh who died on December 26, at the age of 92.

Kamal Haasan, Mammootty, Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Sanjay Dutt, Nimrat Kaur and many others have expressed their deep sadness and grief over the loss of Dr Singh, who was instrumental in shaping India’s economic liberalization.

Sunny Deol, in his tribute, remembered Dr Singh as a “visionary leader who played a pivotal role in shaping India’s economic liberalization”.


Nimrat Kaur, known for her role in The Lunchbox, shared an emotional tribute, calling Dr Singh a “scholar-statesman” whose “peerless wisdom and humility has left an indelible mark on the fabric of our nation”.


Television host and actor Kapil Sharma extended his condolences on social media platforms, he wrote: “India has lost one of its finest leaders today. Dr. Manmohan Singh, the architect of India’s economic reforms and a symbol of integrity and humility, leaves behind a legacy of progress and hope. His wisdom, dedication, and vision transformed our nation. Rest in peace, Dr. Singh. Your contributions will never be forgotten.”


Former cricketer and actor Irfan Pathan shared a mourning note on the X platform paying tribute to the visionary leader Dr Manmohan Singh. He wrote: “India and its economy will forever be indebted to Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji for his remarkable contributions. May his soul rest in peace. Heartfelt condolences to his family.”
