"Share Your Story": Rahul Gandhi Launches 'Satyagraha' Platform To Unite Injustice Fighters

New Delhi: Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi on Saturday, October 3, launched a new platform called ‘Satyagraha’ drawing inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi’s satyagraha principles of truth and unity.

Featuring an interactive map with pins marking struggles over land rights, healthcare, caste discrimination, and labor issues, the platform aims to collect stories from the users, detailing injustice they have faced.

Users can submit their experiences with the platform, and Rahul Gandhi promising to  amplify them in Parliament, on streets, or through letters as Leader of the Opposition. In a social media post on X, Rahul Gandhi pointed out that people across the country are fighting for their rights and that often they fight fighting it alone.

“Gen Z, students, farmers, tribals, Dalits, women—every struggle has its own story. But the voice that rises alone often gets suppressed,” Gandhi said, highlighting that the Satyagraha’ is an initiative to bring these voices together on a map.

“Bapu taught us this—truth is the greatest weapon. But an even greater weapon is standing together with truth in unity. If you’re also fighting against any injustice—share your story,” Rahul Gandhi noted. He further explained how the platform can be used.

“It will take two minutes. Your story will appear on the map. You’ll see who else is fighting like you. And I’ll do whatever I can— in Parliament, on the streets, by writing letters, standing with you wherever I’m needed—as the Leader of the Opposition, this is my responsibility,” the opposition leader wrote on X.

The initiative has gained praise calling it a vital tool to end isolation, helping a student hit by exam leaks or a farmer losing land feel connected to a larger fight under the slogan ‘Sangharsh Jodo, Bharat Jodo.’
