"I Though It Was Strategy, Then I Sat With Him": Rahul Gandhi Says PM Modi's Propaganda Will Be Punctured In One Presser
New Delhi: Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday, August 13, took a direct swipe at prime minister Narendra Modi over his lack of courage for interaction with the media, claiming the reason behind the the prime minister avoiding press conferences is to protect his “propaganda”.
Addressing an audience during the Congress National Convention at Mavlankar Hall in Delhi today, Rahul Gandhi posed the question, “Did you ever wonder why Narendra Modi never addressed Press Conference?” As the crowd responded with “Why?”, the Congress leader shared what he said was his personal experience after meeting the the prime minister.
“I used to think it was some strategy. Then I sat with him for an interaction and got to know that if he ever does Press Conference, all his propaganda will be punctured.” Rahul Gandhi said, sparking sharp reactions from the audience.
During the interaction, the Congress leader also slammed the Prime Minister for his alleged “hugging foreign policy”

‘Hugging other leaders is the foreign policy of Narendra Modi. He thinks other global leaders are his friends. You are not there to make friends. The job of the Prime Minister of India is to protect India’s interests,’ the Congress leader pointed out, suggesting India’s surrender to foreign interests including the recent US demand on oil purchase from Russia despite negatively impacting the country’s economy.
