Stampede At Haridwar's Mansa Devi Temple: 6 Killed, Many Injured
Haridwar, Uttarakhand: In yet another tragic event, Mansa Devi Temple in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar on Sunday morning witnessed a horrific stampede, killing at least six people and leaving many others injured. The tragic incident occurred after a large crowd gathered at the shrine during the heavy Shraavana gathering.
Medical teams and ambulances responded promptly, and rescue operations are ongoing. Videos from the stampede scene show the injured people being rushed to the hospital.

Speaking about the stampede, Garhwal Division Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey confirmed the casualties that six people have died in a stampede at the Mansa Devi temple in Haridwar.
“I am leaving for the spot. A detailed report of the incident is awaited, news agency ANI quoted the top police officer. The accident occurred due to the heavy influx of people, as per reports.
