Uttar Pradesh Recruitment Scam: Over 4,000 Duped In Government Job
Police booked at least 13 people after the allegations of job recruitment scam promising jobs in government sectors in ttar Pradesh’s Ballia. As per reports, the recruiters deceptively named to sound like government bodies and promised jobs with a specific monthly salary, The New Indian Express reported.
The police arrested the accused after a villager lodged complaint alleging that they were promised a monthly salary of Rs 15,000. The accused reportedly ran the scam under several names including Laghu Udyog Vikas Parishad, Ujjwala Shiksha Mission and Audyogik Prashikshan Mahila Vikas Yojana.

The accused were operating from a rented place in Tikhampur in Ballia district to carry out the fraud. The accused allegedly told potential victims that the government planned to appoint two persons in every village and asked them to deposit Rs 40,000 as security.
The victims were promised a monthly salary of Rs 15,000 once they get the job. According to the report, more than 4,000 people from the area allegedly made the security deposit and were given fake appointment letters.
