New Delhi: The Congress on Tuesday (March 11) attacked government over admissions for NEET-PG having still not been completed, though results being declared in August last year.

Taking to X, Congress leader wrote: “Results of the NEET-PG exams were announced on August 23, 2024. Today is March 11, 2025 and admissions have still NOT been completed. 80,000 aspiring medical post-graduates are suffering. This delay is unacceptable @JPNadda. Why is this happening?”

After several rounds of preparations, postponements and quick cancellations, National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted the NEET PG 2024 on August 11, 2024. Though the results were announced on August 23, the admission process is yet to finish.

The examination has caught up in legal complications and criticism. In September 2024, a group of candidates filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding the disclosure of raw scores and challenging the use of normalisation method to calculate results.

Earlier, National Medical Council had declared that the NEET-PG 2025 exam would be held on June 16. Though the application process for examination was expected to start in early January, the delays have left candidates looking for official confirmation.
