Students in Uttar Pradesh are protesting for the fourth consecutive day against the decision to conduct the UPPSC Combined Preliminary Exam and UP RO/ARO prelims exam on two different days and multiple shifts. Candidates have been demanding to conduct the exam in a single shift and opposing the normalization formula which can impact their ranking and scores in the exam.

Several political parties including Congress, SP, BSP, and their leaders have criticized the ruling UP government over handling the issue and not confirming with students concerns and demands.
