BPSC Issues Clarification Over Prelims Postponement Fake News

The Bihar Public Service Commission has issued a clarification about the fake news related to the postponement of the BPSC Integrated 70th Combined  Prelims exam. The commission has said that the examination will be conducted on the earlier scheduled day December 12, 2024.

The commission has mentioned in the notice that news circulated on several social media channels about the postponement of the exam on January 19, 2025, is fake and no such decision was taken by the board. The board also advised candidates to visit the official website for any exam-related notifications.

“The Commission refutes such news and informs that the said examination will be conducted on the previously scheduled date December 13, 2024, only”.

The BPSC CCE Prelims exam is set to be held on December 13, 2024. The prelims exam will be of two hours and will have a total of 150 marks. The exam will have a negative marking for every incorrect answer. The competitive examination has in 3 stages including Prelims Written Exam, Mains Written Exam and Interview (personality test).

The 70th Integrated Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024 will be conducted for 2,035 vacancies. Reportedly, 7 to 8 lakh candidates will appear for the BPSC CCE 2024 written examination this year.
