The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued legal notices to individuals including politicians who have leveled baseless allegations against the body in the row over the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) conducted on December 13, 2024.
The BPSC Examination Controller, Rajesh Kumar Singh reportedly said, “The commission has sent notices to a number of individuals, including politicians, certain people associated with coaching centers… those who have made baseless allegations against the BPSC… some more notices will be sent shortly”.

However, the examination controller did not reveal the names of those against whom notices were served. Whereas Jan Suraaj Party’s vice president Y V Giri confirmed that the party founder Prashant Kishor also received one notice. The notice accused Kishor of making defamatory and baseless statements. Giri reportedly said that the notice appeared to be “misconceived and deserved to be ignored”.
The BPSC notice asked to provide ‘full details of irrefutable and verifiable proofs and evidence” within seven days to support his allegations regarding malpractices in the Integrated 70th CCE.
According to the notice, Kishor alleged in interviews that “jobs of children were sold for ₹1 crore to ₹1.5 crore” and claimed the scandal amounted to “more than ₹1,000 crore”.
Also another recipient of the notice was Patna-based tutor and YouTuber Khan Sir, who also shared the information with PTI and said to reply to the legal notice after consulting his lawyers. However, he said to keep fighting for the cause of students.

While police has also registered a fresh FIR against the Khan Sir, for allegedly spreading misinformation related to the BPSC exam. He said to approach Patna High Court over the issue related to alleged irregularities in the examination held on December 13.
Meanwhile, Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the provisional answer key for the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (70th CCE) prelims which is available at the commission’s official website – bpsc.bih.nic.in. As per the official notice, candidates can challenge the provisional answer key until January 16, 2025.
