Assam DEE Teacher Recruitment 2025 Registration For 4500 Vacancies

The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) Assam has issued a recruitment notification for 4500 teacher grade vacancies. The online application process for the DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2025 will start on February 15, 2025, and continue until March 31, 2025.

The recruitment process includes appointment for Assistant Teachers in Lower Primary (LP) schools and Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers, and Hindi Teachers in Upper Primary (UP) schools. This recruitment aims to fill 4,500 teacher vacancies, with 2,900 posts for LP schools and 1,600 posts for UP schools.

The selection process for these positions will be merit-based, relying on candidates’ academic performance in higher secondary (or equivalent) examinations, Graduation, Diploma in Education, and Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET). Separate merit lists will be published on the official DEE Assam website for each district and category.

ASSAM DEE Teacher Recruitment 2025: Marking Criteria 

For Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers and Hindi Teachers in UP Schools

  • 5% markes secured in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) examination
  • 5% marks secured in Graduation exam
  • 5% marks secured in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), D.Ed. or B.Ed (Special Education)
  • 80% of marks secured in the Teacher’s  Eligibility Test (TET) for Upper Primary Schools
  • Maximum of 5 marks for extracurricular activities

For Assitant Teachers in LP Schools

  • 5% markes secured in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) examination
  • 5% marks secured in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), D.Ed. or B.Ed (Special Education)
  • 85% of marks secured in the Teacher’s  Eligibility Test (TET) for Upper Primary Schools
  • Maximum of 5 marks for extracurricular activities
