CBSE Clarifies Over Maths Paper QR Code Having Rick Astley's Song On YouTube
In a video circulating on social media, a student highlighted the mistake where she scanned the QR code to see what it entails. Upon her shock, she finds the RickAstley’s song link on YouTube. Now, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a clarification about the genuineness of the paper.
CBSE said that it appears that the QR code in the class 12 exam has a link to a YouTube video, which has raised concerns about the veracity of the question papers amongst concerned students and their parents.
To these concerns, CBSE clarified, “It is hereby confirmed by the Board that the question papers are genuine. The security of the question papers remains uncompromised”.

The examination body said that many security features are provided on the Question Papers, including QR codes to verify the genuineness of the question paper in case of a suspected security breach.
