The QR code on CBSE question papers was officially introduced in 2018 and intended as a security and authentication measure to prevent paper leaks and verify the document’s origin.
The printed QR Code carries important instructions, instead it redirected to a YouTube video song of Rick Astley from 1987.
Nearly 2 million students appeared for the exam.
