Moreover, Class 12 results are expected before the second week of May 2026, in line with previous trends. Last year, both Class 10 and Class 12 results were announced on May 13.
CBSE Board Exams Evaluation Process
Examiners assess 20 answer sheets per day for major subjects and 25 for other subjects, working over eight hours. With On-Screen Marking, the evaluation process is expected to be finished in nine days, compared to the earlier 12 days for Class 12.
The new system expects to reduce the delays and minimise manpower required for the verification related work. It cut the transportation time, cost as physical answer sheets will no longer to be moved for verification process.
Grace Marks Policy
Students falling short by one or two marks in Class 10 may be awarded grace marks. To pass the examination, candidates must secure a minimum of 33 percent marks overall.
