New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted a Class 10 Artificial Intelligence (AI) examination today, February 27, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The paper, according to teachers and the students, was moderate and well-balanced, aligning with the CBSE syllabus and marking scheme.

The paper was balanced, and an average student can score 70% marks, opines Class X AI teachers Mrs Renuka Diwan and Mr Sukesh Dahiya, Army Public School, Delhi. Principal Dr Neetu Kapoor said that the students seemed happy and cheerful after the examination.

“MCQ section A was quite too easy,” the experts pointed out. The paper followed CBSE blueprint The paper was divided into Section A (Objective Type Questions) and Section B (Subjective Type Questions). Section A included MCQs from Employability Skills and core AI topics such as the AI Project Cycle, supervised and unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, evaluation metrics, and ethical frameworks.

Most questions were direct and based on the prescribed syllabus, according to the subject matter experts. Section B comprised short and long answer questions that tested conceptual clarity and practical understanding, making students to explain key concepts.
