CBSE Class 10 Maths Paper 2026 'Moderate Difficult': Students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the CBSE Class 10 2026 Maths exam on February 17. As per the students, the level of difficulty was moderate, and questions were asked from the syllabus.

As per the students, the case-based section required deeper analysis; however, the paper was easier than the last year. The paper was largely based on NCERT, enabling students to attempt most questions confidently.

The CBSE class 10th boards started from today and will be held till March 11. The practical exams were held from January 1 to February 14.

CBSE issued fresh guidelines for the class 10 board exams and said that students must reach their exam centres before 10 am.

Class 10th Maths paper 2026 was held in a single shift. Students appeared for the Mathematics Standard and Basic exam. The maths paper covered topics on Polynomials, Quadratic Equations, Arithmetic Progressions, Triangles, Circles, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, and Statistics.

Notably, it is mandatory for class 10 students to appear in the first board exam, and those who do not attempt at least three subjects in the first edition will be placed in the essential repeat category, as per the CBSE.
