UPSC Civil Services 2024 Interviews Rescheduled Amid Delhi Elections

The Union Public Service Commission has revised the UPSC Civil Services Personality Test 2024. The decision came amid the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The personality test earlier scheduled to be held on February 5, 2025, will now be held on February 8, 2025. Candidates can go through the official website of the UPSC – upsc.gov.in for the notice.

The official notification reads, ” Due to notification of Delhi Assembly elections on 5.2.2025, the personality test of Civil Services Exam 2024 scheduled on 5.2.2025 will now be held on Saturday, 8.2.2025.”

The Civil Services (Main) Examination personality test will be commenced on January 7 till April 17, 2025. A total of 2,845 candidates are set to participate in the interview stage. The personality test will take place in two sessions: the morning session starts at 9 am and the afternoon session begins at 1 pm.

Notably, candidates attending the interview will be eligible for reimbursement of travel expenses, limited to the second/sleeper class train fare (mail express) only.

Delhi is set to polls in a single phase on February 5. The counting of the votes will take place on February 8. The schedule for Delhi polls was released at a press conference on Tuesday (January 7) by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar along with other senior poll officials.
