Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the notification for over 32,438 vacancies under RRB CEN No. 08/2024. The notification for recruitment in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix is available on the official website of RRBs. The registration process will start on January 23, 2025, and the last date of application will be February 22, 2025.

The date of application fee payment after the closing date is February 23 to February 24, 2025. The date and time for the modification window for corrections will be February 25 to March 6, 2025.

The educational qualification can be checked on the detailed notification available on the official website. The age limit of the candidates to fill out the application form should be between 18 to 36 years as of January 1, 2025.

The written test will comprise 100 questions and the exam duration is for 90 minutes. There will be negative marking and 1/3rd marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer. The minimum percentage of marks for shortlisting in various communities is 40% for Unreserved, 40% for EWS, 30% for OBC (Noncreamy layer, 30% for SC, and 30% for ST.

The examination fee for all candidates is Rs 500 out of this 500 an amount of Rs 400 shall be refunded in due course duly deducting bank charges. The application fee for PwBD/Female/Transgender/Ex-Servicemen candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/Minorities/Economic Backward Class (EBC) is Rs 250. This fee is also refundable.
