
UPSC Releases Rejected Applicants List For CSE 2025 Prelims
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has uploaded the list of rejected candidates for the Civil Services Examination 2025 Preliminary Examination. The rejection list is available on the UPSC official website – upsc.gov.in.

The commission rejected the applications of 43 candidates as the application fee of Rs 100 was not received through the bank. As per the official notification, the aggrieved candidates can challenge the rejection within 10 days by providing supporting documents including the system- generated challan or copy of the corresponding debit/credit card or bank account statement.
The appeal should be sent by speed post or personally handed over to the Under Secretary, UPSC, Examination Hall 2, Fourth Floor, along with the required documents. Appeals can be made by March 17, 2025.
The UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 is scheduled to be held on May 25, 2025. The exam will consist of two objective-type papers (MCQs) with a total of 400 marks. The prelims are a screening test, and marks scored will not be added to the final ranking of candidates. The examination will be held in two stages: Preliminary and Mains (written examination and interview). The detailed syllabus and exam pattern can be accessed on the UPSC website.

This year, the UPSC CSE 2025 will be held for 979 posts in different government services.
