Lakme Fashion Week (LFW), touted as the India’s biggest fashion event, began on Tuesday at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. In the gala, spanning over five days, all the leading designers from India will showcase their collections.
Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI 2023 was kick-started with a show from the clothing label Raw Mango. Sanjay Garg, designer and founder of Raw Mango, opened the fashion fiesta with his collection, ‘Children of the Night.’
About the collection, Lakme Fashion Week wrote on the official Instagram handle, “The collection titled “Children of the Night”, draws from the energy that often accompanies an evening; whether a powerful release through dance, a surreal feeling or the presence of sculptural forms.”
Raw Mango’s collection included knitwear, kaleidoscopic weaves, and glittering metallics. Celebrities, Karisma Kapoor, Kalki Koechlin, and Saba Azad walked for the designer. Raw Mango fashion show had “no showstoppers” made them set apart.
