A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the Rajasthan Civil Judge Cadre exam result 2024. The petition was filed by 96 candidates who appeared in the examination. The petitioners went before the CJI DY Chandrachud for urgent listing.
The CJI agreed to list the matter as a priority as the interviews are going to commence on October 16. The petitioners claimed that the evaluation process involved in the examination was ‘arbitrary and flawed’. They argued that despite performing well in exams an unjustly low scoring range of 0 to 15 marks was used in the ‘English Essay Writing’ paper.
The RJS aims to fill nearly 222 vacancies through direct recruitment to the Civil Judge Cadre. The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the preliminary exam, main exam, and interview (personality test). Out of the 3000 candidates who appeared for the main exam, 638 were called for the interview round. The main examination was held on August 31 and September 1.
The Rajasthan Judiciary Services Mains Result 2024 was announced by the Rajasthan High Court on October 1, 2024. The RJS interviews are scheduled to commence on October 16, 2024.
