Since the world faced a sudden IT outage, tech mogul Elon Musk takes a dig at the tech giant Microsoft sarcastically posted that the X platform worked amid the global chaos. A slew of major global institutions including banks, airlines and media organisations confronted mass IT outages on Friday due to the Crowd strike update as it began with multiple issues in the Azure services (cloud computing platform).

On the other hand, The tech company Microsoft acknowledged that the sudden error was caused due to the Crowd strike update as it began with multiple issues in the Azure services (cloud computing platform). The company also said that a probe was taken to further analyse the glitch impacting several apps and services. Various airlines have alerted the passengers and posted on X that the company combating technical challenges at the moment which may affect the online services for some time.

Due to the global IT outage, the UK, railway companies report delays and say that they’re experiencing large-scale IT outage issues. Some flights were suspended s in the UK and flight delays were reported across the world. In Australia, a raft of online dealings in shops, airports, and communications are impacted and Australia’s National Cyber Security Coordinator called it a mass technical IT outage.

In India, The outage forced several airlines, including IndiGo, Akasa Airlines and SpiceJet, to ground planes and disrupt flight operations. Microsoft said that a probe was taken to further analyse the glitch impacting several apps and services.
