Anand Mahindra love to share interesting videos and images with equally interesting captions. Recently, the industrialist has shared a video that showed a luxury villa which was transformed from an old airplane. In the undated video, Felix Demin, a Russian entrepreneur gives a tour to his Boeing 737 airplane that is now transformed into a two-bedroom villa, with an infinity pool and a beautiful view of Indian Ocean.

While sharing the video, Mahindra wrote, “some people are fortunate enough to be able to turn their fantasies into reality. And this chap doesn’t seem to impose any constraints on his imagination! I’m trying to figure out whether I’d ever be interested in booking a stay here but I’m a bit worried about jet lag post the experience…”.

Commenting on the post, many X user said Anand Mahindra should build something like the airplane luxury stay in India. One of the X user wrote, “Anand Mahindra sir should build one of their Mahindra resorts like this. Suitable locations would be Goa, Konkan. Alibaug, Kerala, etc”. Another user wrote, “may be Mahindra holidays can start this concept in India in different states. After all India is surrounded by oceans..”.

Felix Demin bought the Boeing 737 in 2021. Demin’s unusual property is located in situated at Nyang Nyang Cliffs in Bali, Indonesia. He started renting it out from April 2023, after renovation.

Talking to CNN, Demin commented on the hard process of transforming the plane into a luxury stay. He said that the hardest part was to shift the plane to the Nyang Nyang Cliffs. He said the transportation of the plane took two cranes, supervision of several specialists and police escort. It took five days to transport the plane. Recalling the tiresome days of transporting the plane, Demin said, “it was the most sleepless five days of my life”.
