Former Pakistan Cricket player Shahid Afridi disclosed that his sister passed away after battling for her life on Tuesday. His sister was battling for her life in the hospital. Her health condition was worsened and hence the cricketer had to change his plans and return back. But unfortunately, she passed away.

Afridi recently posted about his travel schedule change as he will be return to visit his ailing sister and asked for their prayers. Later, Afridi added another post confirming his sister”s demise. ” Surely we belong to Allah and to him we shall return. With Heavy hearts we inform you that our beloved Sister passed away and her Namaz e Janazah will be at 17.10.2023 after Zuhur prayer at Zakariya masjid main 26th street Khayaban e Ghalib DHA,” Afridi wrote on X

(إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ,)

Meanwhile, the funeral prayer for the sister of the former captain of the Pakistan cricket team will take place today at Zikriya Mosque in Defense Housing Authority (DHA), Karachi.
